Blu Wireless links up with London Business Angels to finance technology development in 4G space

The London Business Angels network and the Angel CoFund are coming together to invest £2 million into Blu Wireless. A £2 million investment into technology business Blu Wireless has been dominated by a £1 million commitment from London Business Angels private investors - represented by Qi3 Accelerator. Bristol-based Blu Wireless is involved in wireless communication and is producing a system to switch between processors to allow for greater bandwidth on 4G and WiFi connections.

Oxygen Enterprise Partners acquires Central England Business Angels

Oxygen Enterprise Partners (OEP), the region's biggest investor in technology startups, has acquired Central England Business Angels (CEBA). Founded in November 2007, CEBA is an angel investor network which has raised £4.5 million of investment for 40 companies to date. The acquisition marks OEP's diversification into a broader sectoral base and will see CEBA branch into multiple regional syndicates from its current one.
