Intelligent Partnership is producing a report on Inheritance Tax Planning Products and we’d love to be able to include your views. This new report follows on from our successful EIS industry report in 2014 and will be focused on investment products that mitigate IHT through Business Property Relief - sometimes known as BPR, IHT or ITS investment products.

Unlike traditional trust arrangements, BPR products are simple to implement, allow investors to retain control of their funds and attract IHT relief within just two years. Up until now they have only been used by a minority of sophisticated investors and business owners, but with the baby boomer generation now reaching retirement age BPR investment products are set to take off. Savvy investors are starting to demand better quality IHT planning products and more education on the options available to them.
